Black Metal Pigments

Adam Wilder balck metal gunpowder line pigment tutorial wheels

Black Metal pigments can be a great medium for reducing the glare of metallic paints giving details like these worn cast road wheels more of an authentic mild steel finish.
Sand the outer diameter of the wheels to ensure a smooth surface for the metallic paint.
Placing the wheels onto the ends of rods such as old paint brushes will make them easier to handle when you are painting the metallic outer diameters.
Use your finger to rub the Black Metal pigments over the painted metallic ends reducing the glare giving the wheels a realistic finish.
